Builder ‘took no advice on wall’ which crushed Prestatyn tot - North Wales News - News - Daily Post North Wales: A BUILDER who denies the manslaughter of a girl crushed to death by a wall, told Mold crown court he hadn’t taken any advice about its structure.
George Collier, 59, of Kinmel Bay, said he had assumed the wall would be alright when he filled behind it with soil. He said it was an ordinary garden wall built by two bricklayers. The wall, in Meliden, collapsed on Meg Burgess, 3, as she walked past with her mum in July 2008. The case is proceeding.
