NY tree service worker killed while grinding stump - WSJ.com: CHAUMONT, N.Y. — Authorities say a 39-year-old employee of a northern New York tree service was accidentally killed while he was grinding a stump.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says Ronald Watson of Gouverneur (goo-vur-NOOR') was working alone Thursday afternoon when he became pinned between the grinder's protective shield and an adjacent building in the village of Chaumont, on Lake Ontario's northeastern shore 70 miles north of Syracuse.
