Roosters Owner Given Suspended Prison Sentence For Health And Safety Breaches

News - Local News: Stony Stratford (MK11): A fast food shop owner has been given a 6 month prison sentence suspended for 2 years, 150 hours of unpaid work and is disqualified from acting as a Director of a business for 5 years at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday 20 December after an employee was badly burned by boiling hot pressurised cooking oil when a chicken cooker failed and sprayed oil at over 200 degrees onto him.Mr Saidqur Rahman, 36, of 15 Conway Crescent Bletchley, pleaded guilty to breaches of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 (HASWA), the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 (MHSWR) and the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR).
