Slaughterhouse worker Ancy Socescu lost her right hand when it was caught in a giant saw and could have made a full recovery if local doctors had simply kept the severed hand chilled.
Instead they put it in a domestic deep freeze so when surgeons tried to reattach it, the hand was like a block of ice.
